4 EXCELLENCE VERSES IN GODLY, FINANCIAL & FAMILY “RELATIONSHIP” !

As believers and non believers; we all have different priorities in our relations, in our life, in our jobs, in our finances. However, here are some of the priorities; which we see helped many people in relationshi

1) Choosing “INTIMACY WITH GOD” over “WORK ACTIVITY”. This quote is about making a priority of INTIMACY and the presence of God over activity in your life. John. 8:28,29“I do nothing of Myself, but as My Father taught Me, I speak these things. And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father has not left Me alone”

2) Choosing “RELATIONSHIP” over “FINANCIAL GAIN”. Life is full of temptations to bow at the altar of promotion and financial gain at the expense of your relationships. Financial gain is not wrong and having money is not wrong, but the love of money will cause you much trouble in life.

I Timothy 6:9, 10

But people who long to be rich fall into temptation and are trapped by many foolish and harmful desires that plunge them into ruin and destruction. [10] For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil. And some people, craving money, have wandered from the true faith and pierced themselves with many sorrows.

These destroy, straying from the faith, and great sorrow. It also destroys the quality of your relationships. Quoting prosperity Scriptures to attempt to cover your greed will not bring the financial blessings to you that God intends. The important thing is that money is not bad unless it is used judiciously and wisely for our house hold expenses and if the GOD had blessed more; remaining excess money prayerfully to be used for the kingdom of God purposes; without any greed in the heart or wrongful practices to earn the money and fulfill the greed!

  • 3) Choosing “FAMILY” over “SUCCESS” we are not referring to success in Biblical terms because that, of course, would include healthy family relationships. What we am referring to is choosing family over worldly success. That idea of “success at any cost”. Do whatever you have to do, work an unlimited number of hours, never see or have time for your family. It’s the environment that only leaves your family the leftover, if any, of your time.

Financial success, ministry success, and Family success
are not mutually exclusive. There is a balance between each of these that God’s grace only can help us to achieve.

  • 4) Choosing to “SERVE others Over “CONFRONTING & CONVENIENCE” Mark 10:35-45 – James and John wanted a position near the Lord Jesus. They wanted to be worshiped and served. Their highest value at the present was comfort and convenience – in other words, SELF!

Everyone in the world wants the Head Position where they can be served
and adored as the center of attention. The Jesus said; “The way to greatness in My kingdom is by serving others.” The way to the top in My Kingdom is to become a servant to everyone – all the time.

Comfort and convenience are enemies to the mission of Jesus for modern day disciples. 1) They are not to be even considered when carrying out our
ministry or assignment in life. 2) Many believers in the church today are considering their rights (to comfort and convenience) as a legitimate justification for not serving and loving people in a difficult situation.

a. And then they wonder why they fall.
b. That is the difference between a believer and a true disciple.

Example: Overcoming a difficult workplace situation by going the second mile with that difficult person through serving them and blessing them above and beyond the call of duty.
