CRUCIFIXION OF THE LORD JESUS WAS FOR THE PURPOSE OF MANKIND AND HELPING CARRYING OUR OWN CROSS DAILY!
The Cross Of The Jesus Christ Is Important For Us; Because Lord Jesus Carried The Cross For Reasons and Been Crucified For Our Sins!
1. The Cross of the Lord Jesus Christ is Unique because it is for the Purpose!
What is the difference between Lord Jesus Christ Crucifixion & death on the Cross of Calvary and the death of other saints or any of the other religious leaders in history? The primary difference between them is that the Lord Jesus Christ died for a reason and that’s is the Sins of all the Mankind. The crucifixion of Christ is unique because of its purpose, which is to save us from the effects of the Sin.
In the Old Testament; Jews use to sacrifice all kinds of animals which were good for eating as the atonement of their sins every year. (Genesis 7:8 With them were all the various kinds of animals-those approved for eating and for sacrifice and those that were not-along with all the birds and the small animals that scurry along the ground)
a. The Problem: The problem was that everyone not able to obey all the commandments given by the God to follow to the God’s People. Therefore, were fallen short of Glory!
(Romans 3:23 We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. [23] For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard)
b. The solution
(John 3:16-17 “For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. [17] God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him)
How does Jesus blood relate to the new covenant? People in Old Testament (Before Jesus) used to approach God only through a priest and animal sacrifice. Now all people can come directly to God through his beloved son Jesus sinless shedding of his precious blood, crucifixion and death on the Cross which made us acceptable in God’s eyes. All those who believes in Christ receive that forgiveness.
2. The Cross of the Lord Jesus Christ if unique because it Destroys Pride.
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing (1 Corinthians 1:18 The message of the cross is foolish to those who are headed for destruction! But we who are being saved know it is the very power of God)
At the heart of every faith; except Christianity is the belief that I can go to heaven myself through my own good works. Other faiths teach that I can actually achieve holiness through my own effort; that through my own effort I can attain perfection! This is a position of pride and vanity and this is why the cross is a major stumbling block (foolishness), to many who cannot get past their pride.
(James 4:6; And he gives grace generously. As the Scriptures say, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble”).
Most of the Other faiths also accepts that there shall be a Judgment Day; when everyone has to stand before the Lord Jesus Christ and the Judgment shall be made by the Lord Jesus Christ for their works; However, the salvation and the eternal life is only through the faith in Lord Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal Saviour!
(Romans 10:9-13; If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. [10] For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. [11] As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.” [12] Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on him. [13] For “Everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.”)
(Luke 1:51 His mighty arm has done tremendous things! He has scattered the proud and haughty ones.)
Yet in complete contrast we have the loving Father God of all faiths; who provides salvation as a loving Gift to reconcile the World through His son Lord Jesus Christ. Because from my experience in Hindu family and trying to be Spiritual by myself through Yoga, Chanting, Meditation did not helped me. However; when my time came and I read the Word of the God from Bible; which in turn brought close closer to me to the loving Father God through His son Lord Jesus Christ I received the Love, Grace, Healing, Mercy, Forgiveness of my sins and Compassion of the Lord Jesus Christ. Dear Friends, as my experience says that the Lord Jesus Christ is loving and caring and without Him we will never be holy enough to earn our salvation – it is free Gift as from the Loving Father God to us; who belief in His son Lord Jesus!
(Mathew 11:27-30; “My Father has entrusted everything to me. No one truly knows the Son except the Father, and no one truly knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.” [28] Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. [29] Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. [30] For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”)
There is a known religion Shinto in Japan, where you get various information about two-three religions and then follow the path of the right Living God Lord Jesus Christ and to know the truth and follow the word of the God. Because I had tried at least 2-3 ways and then miraculously the Lord Jesus Christ chosen me! I have always one good question that did any other Faith or Religion Guru died for your personal sins? Did you experienced the love of the Lord Jesus Christ talking with you directly? Did you experienced the God who came into your real life problems and helped you directly without any intercessor or mediator? Did your life changed after reading the word of the God from Bible like nature, character, faith, love for the God and the people?
Please ask to your mind, heart and your past and existing life, if the answer is “No”!
Important thing to differentiate between; “RELIGIOUS” or “SPIRITUAL Is”? We have to decide that what our love relationship with the LOVING GOD is? In “RELIGION we do Karma / good works / rituals for many gods/deities; however in SPIRITUALITY it’s opposite, the LOVING GOD chooses us, we accept Him in faith & He loves us, guides us, prepares us; as the word of God says I have Plans to prosper you & not to harm you; to give you hope & future! In His perfect love, He Blesses us, forgives our mistakes & pour out His Love, Grace, Healing and Prosperity & Peace through his son Jesus! So that we may have lavish life up to the Eternity in Heaven! So let’s pray
O loving Father God, we believe in our heart and confess with our mouth that Lord Jesus Christ is your risen son. Therefore, Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and be my Savior. Amen!

3. The Cross of the Jesus Christ Is Unique Because It Reveals God’s Passion & love for Human Beings!
This is how God showed his love [passion] among us; He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him (1 John 4:9 NIV)
In some other religions also; they claim the God is supreme and Merciful and they worship. However, the fact is not in name of various gods/deities but in the Works of the Loving Father God and what He had done in the Creation and for the Mankind! The reality which word of the God says in Bible is that the Loving Father God is ONLY ONE GOD, who is invisible, sovereign, who had created the Heavens, Earth, Plants, Animals, made the day and the night, stars, sun, moon and even Human beings in His own image and character!
That actually makes the TRINITY God; the Loving Father God, the son Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit and they all are ONE! What the cross uniquely reveals about the Loving Father God of the Bible is His self-sacrificing love/passion, Grace, forgiving God, Merciful, Compassionate for all people. The Bible says God is love. And the cross stands out as a beacon of God’s love for and passion for you.
Conclusion; The cross reveals how the Loving Father God feels about you – He knows you by your name, engraved your name on His palm, loves you unconditionally in this life, in the Heaven and up to the Eternity once you accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and your personal saviour!
