PROSPERITY, HEALTH & HONOR COMES FROM GIVING & SERVING THE GOD !

Praise the Lord, are we rejoicing in the Lord today? Are we loving the Lord today? give Glory to the Lord. Amen! I had experienced the Prosperity, Health & Honor in my Life through giving tithes and offerings to the God back because ultimately every good thing comes from Him! Our Lord Jesus Christ is Gracious and Compassionate God and never leave us alone in all the areas of our life!

Deuteronomy 12:6 There you will bring your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, your sacred offerings, your offerings to fulfil a vow, your voluntary offerings, and your offerings of the firstborn animals of your herds and flocks.

In the Old Testament tithes and offering were offered in the temple and at altar at different seasons and time.

There are 3 powerful principles of tithes and offering:Tithes & offering motivates greater faithfulness

Tithing declares our realization that God has already blessed us, as well as our conviction that he will continue to take care of us.

Tithes & offering expands Kingdom work – It is approximately calculated that tithes & offering percentage in Old Testament was about 23 1/3 percentage. By the grace of God and commandment we tithe minimum 10%.

Tithes & Offering releases God’s financial blessings – It is something so small, yet it is a part of something so large. Literally the kingdom of God! He takes something small and transforms it into something big according to his riches & grace.

Mark 12:41-44

41. Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. 42. But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents.43. Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. 44. They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.”

How different is heaven’s arithmetic mathematics from ours! To Jesus, the quality of the giving counts far more than the actual quantity that is given; and the example that Jesus used in teaching generosity was not of the person who was rich and had plenty, but of a woman who was poor and had next to nothing. The Lord commended her for the quality of her giving, and said she gave more to God than anyone else that day! The others “all gave out of their wealth”, meaning they had plenty left over for themselves, whereas” she, out of her poverty, put in everything – all she had to live on.” Her gift was far greater than the others in Heaven’s terms! But God is never a debtor to His children, and if they will honour Him with their substance (Tithes, offerings, talents and time), making their love-gifts generous and their offerings regular, they can be quite sure that all their needs will be met according to God’s promise!

Story: Why poor has to Tithe also if he has not enough for them?

Sam was 12 years old he worked as newspaper distributor to help his single mother earn money for his family.  Whenever, Sam received money he gave it to his mother, who’d pay tithing on it.  One time his mother said, “Sam, I know that you don’t have bicycle, and you must walk many kilometres to and from work each day. With so much hard work, it’s going to be very difficult when you walk from home at four or five o’clock in the morning. So I’ll give you your tithing money and you can either pay your tithing or buy a cycle. I’ll leave the decision up to you.” Sam next day hurried to the church and paid the tithes to the Pastor.  Few days later miraculously Lord spoke to Sam’s Uncle, John in the night to gift a cycle to Sam.

Next week Uncle Sam purchased the bicycle and gifted it to Anil. Supernaturally, it drastically changed Sam’s faith towards the Lords faithfulness and obedience to the Word of God. Since then, Sam committed to pay a generous tithes, offerings, took responsibility in the church and was doing all works diligently!  Now he is preaching the word and good news, praying for the sick, ministering the God and his people. As the scriptures says in Mathew 6:33-Seek his kingdom first and his righteousness and all others shall be added to it.
