Proverbs 31:25-28
“Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness.”
The Good News: Women are strong and resilient, and they best serve their families by inspiring kindness and perseverance in their children.
John 16:21
“A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world.”
The Good News: The agony of childbirth is nothing compared to the love you feel for your newborn child.
Psalm 139:13-14
“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.”
The Good News: God created us, but he specifically made us inside our mothers. He does everything with a purpose, and we must not only appreciate his brilliant work, but the gift of life that we have and our amazing mothers for giving it to us.
Isaiah 66:13
“As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you; you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.”
The Good News: A mother’s comfort is so great, that the Lord even compares his own willingness to comfort his people to theirs.

The Good News: It’s important for not only children to praise their mothers, but for husbands to honor their wives.
Exodus 20:12

The Good News: If you honor your father and mother by treating them with respect, patience, and dignity, then you will live a satisfying and fulfilling life. God will made your journey rewarding in the end.
Proverbs 31:31
“Honor her for all that her hands have done, and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.”
The Good News: Your mom has done a lot for you, so appreciate her for it! The Lord will honor her and shower her with gifts in heaven.
Proverbs 23:22-25
“Listen to your father who gave you life, and do not despise your mother when she is old. Buy truth, and do not sell it; buy wisdom, instruction, and understanding. The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice; he who fathers a wise son will be glad in him. Let your father and mother be glad; let her who bore you rejoice.”
The Good News: Listen to your mother, for she gave you life. Make her proud of the person you are becoming and treat her well.
