SALVATION – THE FLIGHT TO ETERNITY!

Life is a journey. We’re all going somewhere.

Life feels good when you’re happy, healthy and whole…when things are going well and you’re at the top of your game.

But life also brings disappointments and pain. It could be a marriage that didn’t work out, the loss of a loved one, or failing to live up to your own expectations.

We spend our days pursuing “perfection”—in work, in body and in life. We get caught up in becoming the best version of ourselves.

But, at the end of the day, we weren’t made to be perfect. We were made to be free.

Free from the hurts and the pain of our past. Free from the hits we’ve taken in life. Free from the bullies that pushed us into the places we never thought, nor wanted to be.

We all struggle to find light in those dark places.

The question is: how do we find it?

And even when we figure it out and get the life we want, you have to know it doesn’t last forever.

Life is a vapour…and our journey has a destination.

Time doesn’t stop. It never will. And after this life, there’s heaven and hell. We’re either going to be with God or without Him.

We were all born separated from God. No matter how good we try to be, we all miss the mark. We all sin.

God loves us and wants to be with us. But, God is holy and He can’t stand sin.

Thankfully, He made a way…

John 3:16

God so loved the world
That He gave His one and only son, Jesus Christ
So that anyone who believes in Him
Will not perish
But have eternal life.

Jesus’ sacrifice is the greatest act of love mankind has ever known. And it bridges the gap between God and us. Jesus paid the price our sin required. He makes it possible for each of us to connect with God on a real, personal level.

And you don’t have to wait until heaven to experience God. You can live life to the fullest NOW.

God wants to give you His peace in the midst of your chaos and His joy in times of pain. You can have this unconditional love that only He can give…TODAY!

So, are you ready to start your journey with God?

1. God Loves You.

God loves you and wants you to know Him so He can fill you with peace and give you real life — forever. John 3:16 “God loved the people of this world so much that He gave His only son, so that everyone who has faith in Him will have eternal life and never die.

Jesus said in John 10:10, “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life”. (To give prosperous, joyful, healthy, peaceful and abundant life of Spirit, Soul and Body)

Since God planned for us to have peace and life, why are we so far from God?

2. We are Separated from God.

Since the beginning of time, we have chosen to disobey God and go our own way. We still make this choice today. This results in separation from God.

“All of us have sinned and fallen short of God’s holiness.” Sin is choosing to say or do or think things that are against God’s plan.

(Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the FREE GIFT of GOD is ETERNAL LIFE through CHRIST JESUS OUR LORD.) “The result of unforgiving sin is death. But God’s gift is eternal life given by Jesus Christ our Lord.”

There is only one way to reach God.

3. Jesus Christ Died for our Sins

Jesus Christ is God’s Son. He is the only One who can bring us back to God. Jesus died on the Cross and rose from the grave. He paid the penalty for our sin and bridged the gap between God and people.

“There is only one God, and Christ Jesus is the only One who can bring us to God.” “Christ died once for our sins. The innocent Son of the God died for all Mankind who were sinners even the unborn. Christ did this to bring you to God.”

God has provided the only way – we must make the choice.

4. We Must Receive Christ.

We must trust Jesus Christ to forgive our sins and receive Him as our Saviour and serve Him as our Lord. “As many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believed on His name.”

Would you like to give your life over to Jesus Christ right now? If so, you can pray the following prayer and accept Jesus as your Savior:

O loving Father God,

We believe in our heart and confess with our mouth that Lord Jesus Christ is your risen son. Therefore, Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and be my Lord & personal Saviour. Amen!
