LORD JESUS IN THE OLD TESTAMENT!

As we have seen in the Ephesians 1:3-5; the Lord Jesus son of the Loving Father God had chosen us before the creation of this World.

Ephesians 1:3-5
All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ.

[4] Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes.

[5] God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure.

Now lets go into the Word of the God in Old Testament; where there is shadow and prophesy about the Lord Jesus Christ.

Leviticus 17:11
for the life of the body is in its blood. I have given you the blood on the altar to purify you, making you right with the LORD. It is the blood, given in exchange for a life, that makes purification possible.

Numbers 20:11
Then Moses raised his hand and struck the rock twice with the staff, and water gushed out. So the entire community and their livestock drank their fill. Lord Jesus Christ was the Rock here.

Deuteronomy 18:17-18 “Then the LORD said to me, ‘What they have said is right. [18] I will raise up a prophet like you from among their fellow Israelites. I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell the people everything I command him. In this Lord Jesus Christ had raised from the Dead.

Judges 2:18
Whenever the LORD raised up a judge over Israel, he was with that judge and rescued the people from their enemies throughout the judge’s lifetime. For the LORD took pity on his people, who were burdened by oppression and suffering. Here Lord Jesus Christ was like a divine deliverer.

Ruth 3:12
But while it’s true that I am one of your family redeemers, there is another man who is more closely related to you than I am. Here Lord Jesus Christ was like a redeemer.

1 Samuel 2:10
Those who fight against the LORD will be shattered. He thunders against them from heaven; the LORD judges throughout the earth. He gives power to his king; he increases the strength of his anointed one.” Here Lord Jesus Christ was like anointed one.

2 Samuel 7:12-13
For when you die and are buried with your ancestors, I will raise up one of your descendants, your own offspring, and I will make his kingdom strong. [13] He is the one who will build a house-a temple-for my name. And I will secure his royal throne forever. Here Lord Jesus Christ was found as builder of the Temple.

2 Kings 4:42-44
One day a man from Baal-shalishah brought the man of God a sack of fresh grain and twenty loaves of barley bread made from the first grain of his harvest. Elisha said, “Give it to the people so they can eat.” [43] “What?” his servant exclaimed. “Feed a hundred people with only this?” But Elisha repeated, “Give it to the people so they can eat, for this is what the LORD says: Everyone will eat, and there will even be some left over!” [44] And when they gave it to the people, there was plenty for all and some left over, just as the LORD had promised. Here Lord Jesus Christ had done Miracle and fed same as 5000 and 4000 in New Testament in Mathew 16 and Mark 8 respectively.

Nehemiah 2:4-5
The king asked, “Well, how can I help you?” With a prayer to the God of heaven, [5] I replied, “If it please the king, and if you are pleased with me, your servant, send me to Judah to rebuild the city where my ancestors are buried.” Here Lord Jesus Christ was found as re-builder of walls, Temple and Hearts,

Job 19:25
“But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and he will stand upon the earth at last. Here Lord Jesus Christ was found as our redemeer.

Psalm 16:7-8
I will bless the LORD who guides me; even at night my heart instructs me. [8] I know the LORD is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. Here Lord Jesus Christ is found as sitting on the right hand side of the Loving Father God in Heaven.

Psalm 22:1
My God, my God, why have you abandoned me? Why are you so far away when I groan for help? Here there is prophesy about Lord Jesus Christ Crucifixion.

Isaiah 53:4-7
Yet it was our weaknesses he carried; it was our sorrows that weighed him down. And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God, a punishment for his own sins!

[5] But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.

[6] All of us, like sheep, have strayed away. We have left God’s paths to follow our own. Yet the LORD laid on him the sins of us all.

[7] He was oppressed and treated harshly, yet he never said a word. He was led like a lamb to the slaughter. And as a sheep is silent before the shearers, he did not open his mouth.

Here there is prophesy about Lord Jesus Christ punishment on the cross and Crucifixion.
