BIBLICAL POWER PACK “PRAYERS”

Psalm 102:17

“He regards the prayer of the destitute and does not despise their prayer.”

The Good News: God listens to everyone’s prayers. He does not put one’s request or thanks over another; we are all created equal in his eyes.

James 5:16

“Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.”

The Good News: Use the power and guidance of prayer to ease your mind and ask for forgivness from others. Prayer has such healing powers that it can mend relationships with not only others, but with your faith as well.

Job 42:10

“And the Lord restored the fortunes of Job, when he had prayed for his friends. And the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.”

The Good News: When Job lost everything, he prayed to the Lord and the Lord rewarded him with even more than he lost in the first place. This story proves how important and vital prayer is to our faith and relationship with Christ.

Luke 6:27-28

“But I say to you who hear, love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.”

The Good News: Even your worst enemies deserve the love of God and power that prayer has. Use your own prayers to ask the Lord for strength to forgive those who have wronged you, and He will provide.

Mark 11:25

“And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.”

The Good News: Forgive others as you want God to forgive you. If you show the Lord that you are willing to forgive others and follow the acts of Him, then our faith couldn’t be truer.

Mark 11:24

“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

The Good News: When you ask the Lord for anything in the form of a grateful prayer, believe in your whole heart that he is listening. Then, he will reward you for your loyalty and grace.

Job 22:27

“You will make your prayer to him, and he will hear you, and you will pay your vows.”

The Good News: When you pray to the Lord, he will listen.
